Naciones Unidas presentó esta semana el libro "HERstory" (Su Historia) que celebra a las mujeres que han tenido un papel relevante en la defensa de los derechos humanos y la paz dentro de la organización. La iniciativa ha sido impulsada por la Misión Permanente de Colombia ante la ONU, entre otros.

AL DÍA News spoke with Nestor Armando Gil, a Cuban-American artist who explores Latino cultural heritage through his installations and performances. His work will be exhibited at the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts (PAFA) in Philadelphia beginning June 30.
